The American Planning Association has named Guthrie Historic District in Guthrie, Oklahoma, as one of five Great Neighborhoods on APA’s annual Great Places in America list, which starts the countdown to National Community Planning Month in October. 

In a special ceremony, the American Planning Association officially designated Guthrie Green as one of America's Great Public Spaces.
